Position: Senior Accountant
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Industry Preference: Direct experience in the Hospitality or Restaurant industry is preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, cash flow management, and account reconciliation.
- Comprehensive experience managing Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and General Ledger (GL).
- Solid understanding of Qatar VAT, tax compliance, and local financial regulations.
- Proficiency in specialized accounting software (ERP) and advanced MS Excel.
- Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving skills, and high attention to detail.
- Regional Preference: Prior Qatar or GCC experience is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Reporting & Analysis: Preparing periodic financial reports, balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and conducting variance analysis.
- Budgeting & General Ledger: Assisting in budget formulation, managing general ledger entries, performing account reconciliations, and closing period-end books.
- AP/AR & Cash Flow Management: Overseeing daily accounts payable and receivable operations, supplier payments, and customer billing reconciliation within the hospitality group.
- Tax & Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring full compliance with local tax guidelines, VAT regulations, and corporate financial controls in Qatar.
Preference: Senior accounting professionals in Qatar/GCC with 5+ years experience in hospitality or restaurant finance
